Starting in early September, and running over an absolutely massive number of weeks, so many in fact that we lost count, Confessions Publicity organised a Publicity Tour, and also did some promotion for Irish / American horror and dark fiction author, Kealan Patrick Burke, and his brand-new horror novella, blanky.
Dealing with the heart wrenching turmoil in the aftermath of losing his young daughter, Steve Brannigan is struggling to keep himself together. Everything seems to be a nightmare for him, but when his daughters blanky mysteriously appears in her old bedroom, the nightmare is just beginning.
Kealan did the right thing in coming to Confessions Publicity to put a tour together and get him some much-needed exposure for himself, and his new book.
We got together with some fantastic sites who, very graciously, gave up their time to take the book, read and review it, and host the reviews on their sites along with some interviews with Kealan.
Just in case you were hibernating and didn’t catch any of the dates, below you will find a full list of reviews and interviews with the relevant links to go and check them out.
Again, my thanks to Kealan for having faith in Confessions Publicity and my heartfelt thanks to all the sites that took part in this tour.

Born and raised in a small harbor town in the south of Ireland, Kealan Patrick Burke knew from a very early age that he was going to be a horror writer. The combination of an ancient locale, a horror-loving mother, and a family full of storytellers, made it inevitable that he would end up telling stories for a living. Since those formative years, he has written five novels, over a hundred short stories, six collections, and edited four acclaimed anthologies. In 2004, he was honored with the Bram Stoker Award for his novella The Turtle Boy.
Kealan has worked as a waiter, a drama teacher, a mapmaker, a security guard, an assembly-line worker at Apple Computers, a salesman (for a day), a bartender, landscape gardener, vocalist in a rock band, curriculum content editor, fiction editor at Gothic.net, and, most recently, a fraud investigator.
When not writing, Kealan designs book covers through his company Elderlemon Design.
A number of his books have been optioned for film.
